Who We Are

SMILING PEANUT is an collection of artists and technicians striving to provide a voice and a format for the truly independent through various media outlets, including film, radio, television and the internet.

For nearly ten years, SMILING PEANUT has endeavored to provide services and resources to free-thinkers all over the world. From film production and exhibition, sound recording and engineering, to public relations and web development, SMILING PEANUT has done it all.

Recently...

SMILING PEANUT has been a major contributor to the TromaDance Film Festival, organizing screening venues, coordinating volunteers and exhibiting films for this truly independent fest that runs concurrent with Sundance. In additon, our members have also sponsored or co-prodoced numerous independent projects, including Rabbit Hole Radio, a collaboration to produce an original drama for community-based public radio and the internet.
